Project Management for solo dev

Before even starting this project I knew I had to use some kind of project management system. I was deciding between two options: Trello and Basecamp.

Trello is a simple-to-use online board: A card, which represents a body of work, is organized in a set of lists or columns. Each column is a state in which a card is, for example, Development or Design.

Basecamp is designed for collaboration; it features To-do lists, a message board where people can comment on ideas or suggestions, a chat system cleverly named “Campfire”, a calendar, and automatic check-ins, among other features.

If you’ve worked with either system, you can probably guess which system I opted for Trello.
Since I am the sole developer on this project, I chose the simplicity of having a task board over a more comprehensive, team-oriented system that a single developer doesn’t need.
